Valve is linear, becoming constricted before ending into attenuate-rostrate or sometimes slightly capitate apices; pseudoraphe is very narrow, with no central area; striae are parallel; length is 180-250µm, breadth is 4-7µm; striae count is 10-12 in 10µm
