Description:
Ventral side of valve slightly concave, with bulging portion in the middle; punctate striae more or less parallel; ends are bluntly rounded to slightly capitate, somewhat reflexed; distal raphe endings are on terminal valve ends; length is (12)35-200(230)µm, breadth is 7-14µm; striae count is 6-12 in 10µm (24 punctae in 10µm)
