Description:
Valves semi-lanceolate with convex dorsal margin and almost linear ventral margin with produced capitate apices, 12-35µm long, 3-6.5µm broad. Raphe bent, external central endings bent towards dorsal side, axial area absent, central area on the dorsal side broadly lanceolate. Dorsal striae radiate, 20-23 in 10µm, ventral striae 26-30 in 10µm.
